Emergence

If anyone can see who they are,

Speak up and challenge me,

Bellow that you know who you are,

And I will say no,

If I were the self I claimed to be,

There would be no compensation for humanity's hypocrisy,

I change I shift I am afraid to see,

I am complexed I am uncertain and fearful,

I am zero I am two I am three,

I am not one,

I can be infinite if need be,

I am waste I am flower,

I am wheat and I am poison,

I am the snake I am the eagle,

I am your conflict I am mine own peace,

I am light I am dark and unseen,

Rational and impulsive,

Ugly rotten and repulsive,

Vengeful and forgiving,

Misunderstood and comprehending,

To forget,

To bury,

To die,

I compel myself to speak to tell you of my doubts,

My doubts are my only concern,

My truths are the stories solely for me,

You make me forget,

You make me live,

You make me suppress and harbour,

It will all be gone you tell me,

It will all resurface and consume me if you leave,

My force field,

My protection,

For you to stay i beg,

My rationality can not win the epic war that beholds it,

It will not reach the ending where the sun shines,

The grass grows in strong long blades,

And the children sparkle,

So full of life,
Look at them,

They know so much more,

So wise,

I would be angry but i'm not,

I am one of them right now,

Look at me prance,

Look at me laugh,

Look at me dance and tumble and fumble and fall and rise,

I am one of the happy little faces again,

So happy...
