Inevitability

Grab a stick,
And walk alongside me,
Draw in the mud that immortal face,
Who keeps secrets immeasurable?
And hope,
To be pacified,
To have your unwept tears,
Flow,
Calmly,
Slowly,
Trickling down let your smiling face weep,
Have you felt that paralyzing fear when you realize,
Another day gone,
And another day closer,
And you realize how easy it is to take life for granted,
There is always fear with courage,
There is always fear with knowledge,
Inevitability would eventually take over you realize,
Time was the only variable that you knew not of,
And you portray your emotions dry,
Others weep at your loss,
Whereas you with your strength,
You withstand and console them,
Admirable - yes,
Undoubtedly a woman’s strength is taken lightly,
There is an invisible hurt in voiced thoughts,
All of man is downhearted to an extent,
But none like you and you like none,
You leave your friends speechless,
Their words of consolation unneeded but appreciated and loved,
You are a key to the functioning of this illiterate world,
You are a key to the gateways of peace,
And you display the strength that only you,
Only you could portray,
You leave death begging,
“Let me hear your sorrow,
Let me dance to my deeds,
And in what I have taken from you,
Let my scythe feel the shame of taking the good,
The strong and the mighty,”
But you are estranged to those whispers,
Your courage deafens you of those pleas,
Your courage leaves us in awe,
No words writ can express this lesson left upon our hypocritical souls,
You may be a goddess expelled,
But you are the majestic thus far uncrowned,
And if inevitability wishes otherwise,
Then inevitability need face me,
Let your character become an inspiration,
You are indeed lost in a world of men too different,
Too illiterate,
Too indulged in their own selves,
Find your way to lead,
Find your way to eradicate pretension,
Find your way to peace,
Find your way to inevitability,
And defy it,
You will indeed live forever…
