A Symposium of a Spider & his Butterfly

There has never been a time,
When everything is reality,
There has never been a time,
When she felt the webs so sticky,
So wet,
Beneath her feet,
There has never been a moment,
Where her elusive breath she couldn't catch,
There has never been a time,
When she had let her wispy wings be snatched,
It's a cycle of faith this love story,
A cycle of trust much like any other,
And although the wheels aren't going so round and round,
A cycle of emotions has brought everything tumbling down,
So here again lies the conflict,
As it seems to have returned,
When this spider and his butterfly,
Saw yet again, eye to eye,
There again lies the desire,
That overwhelming inebriation,
It's a remembrance within the sheets of silk,
Where emotions slipped and passions weren't shun,
And how the butterfly left her mark,
Upon this spider's heart,
In a manner that his wicked wicked self,
Has never felt has never felt...
Their bodies they lay,
So vivid, so pulchrit, so pure,
A connection that denies,
Each other's longing lure,
In another story,
In another world,
The butterfly and the spider,
Would be just be,
In another story,
In another life,
Things could have been different,
And their difference would not remain,
Only the spider fell he fell, and he did he did,
And with every inch he shone with bliss,
And there is not a sign in the sky,
That has seen a night of light,
Quite like this,
And so it would be,
As no one did believe,
That this butterfly and spider,
Held each other so close, so close...
Lust upon skin and passion upon fire,
A love so young so lost,
There was never a time in moment they would tire,
And upon the finale of this wondrous encounter,
The butterfly was torn, she knew, she knew,
And so upon the remembrance of a brand new night,
She spread her wings and how she flew, she flew,
She left this mark now upon the spider's back,
A widower he was,
This tattoo she has now instilled upon his life,
It would be a wonder if he'll ever learn to yearn again,
His butterfly he thinks, how he wants his butterfly...
And so the spider so wicked, he waits,
Within his web of contemplate,
He waits,
And he waits,
And he waits...
For his butterfly will return,
To devour his love and quench his hunger,
His butterfly, she will return...
